In all honesty I think Morrow has to go. Sure he's tough and hard working but he doesn't have the skills needed to lead a team. Not saying he's a terrible player. Look at Pittsburg and New Jersey, both of their captains are highly skilled and neither one of them fight or take terrible penalties. That's what the league is now based on. Morrow's inability to step up is not useful or needed on the stars roster.
Over the off season the stars need to be aggressive when playing the free agent market. Just think of it this way if some how we can get Parise or another big named player sales for the team would go through the roof. All I'm trying to say is that you have to spend money to make money. The team we have now is not cutting it. Honestly, if I didn't live in Dallas my entire life I wouldn't know a single player on the stars. They need a big named player to draw attention. The more attention a team gets the more their confidence rises. Just look at the kings, i didn't even think they would get past the second round. But their talent and confidence led them to a cup. To get confidence we need several different players on both offense and defense to step up and produce. Towards the end of the season last year there was only one line scoring. It's time to trim the fat and get some scoring threats!
