With the next few games being huge, and possibly heartbreaking, thought I'd post the one constant we've had this season besides a terrible Power Play... the greatness of Razor. Let's all hope we make the playoffs but even if we don't let's remember that the future looks bright; we have solid prospects, a new owner with money to spend, and the dynamic duo of Ralph and Razor. These youtube videos are a few years old and some of you may have seen them but they're still good for a laugh or two. Plus, it reminds me how many resources Gaglardi has of current and former NHL players to keep talent, both players and coaches, coming through the Stars organization. Videos after the jump.
Not a lot of background story on these but I'm assuming it was a Kamloops Blazers alumni type event a few years back and Razor (himself a Blazers alumni) grabbed the owners (Sydor, Doan, Iginla, Recchi) and former Kamloops coach Hitch to do "60 seconds with Razor", no Gaglardi though that i could find. Keep in mind I haven't been living in Dallas the last few years and only found out about defendingbigd around a year ago, so if you've seen the videos or they've already been posted, I apologize... but not that much. I'm wondering if Razor's PR skills alone would net us some good free agents.
Razor with Shane Doan, I know people hate him for the elbow but you can't deny he seems like a solid guy.
Razor with Jarome Iginla. Really wish we would've given Calgary what they wanted in Todd Harvey instead of him. But can you even call somebody a "Monday morning Quarterback" when referring to a trade that can basically compare 3 players careers at this point?
Razor with Hitch who I hope didn't understand the question correctly and admit to wearing a thong. I love Razor's qestion of "Hull or JR?" that makes Hitch have to take a deep breathe. And on a side note, with those red cheeks he would make an amazing Santa.
Razor with Mark Recchi, he had some hard questions but I think Megan Fox or Paris Hilton should be an easy answer every time.
And finally, Razor with former Stars great Darryl Sydor. Ah, the glory days...
Like I said, really hope the Stars make the playoffs, but if not, the glass is still half full.
