Well, Spring Break is over. That means we all have to get back to work, which is no fun!
I don't want to devote too much time to this little story, but it's something that's uncalled for, in my humble opinion. Over the weekend, C.J. Wilson tweeted this:
At first glance, you'd have to think "There's no way C.J. Wilson is this stupid to actually publicly post his own phone number for everyone to spam." Here's the problem, though. That wasn't Wilson's number. It was Mike Napoli's, and now C.J.'s 100,000+ followers can call, text, or do whatever they desire at Napoli's expense. Wilson later deleted the tweet, and then wrote this:
Okay I think we've all had a good time, I'm even with mike for saying he can't wait to hit homers off me.— C.J. Wilson (@str8edgeracer) March 18, 2012
So, Mike says he can't wait to hit homers off of you, and you post his phone number for 100,000+ people to see and call yourselves even? I respectfully disagree.
Enough of C.J.
Once again, time for some SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION!
While not as blatant as a couple of weeks ago, I've recently written two extensive posts critiquing goal horns around the NHL. Some of you may remember a fan post I wrote last spring discussing what goal song the Stars should use if they were to move on from R&R P2, which they actually did, as we all know. I'm not suggesting we inspired the Stars to change their goal song, but we kinda inspired them to change their goal song. (Props to StarsFan29!)
So, The Hunger Games is coming out this Friday. Are you all excited?
I haven't read any of the books, but I have heard they are great reads. So, perhaps a date movie is in store for me later this year.
Have your Mega March Madness brackets been royally busted yet?
For the second year in a row, I did not set up a bracket, and I am kicking myself as a result. How are your brackets doing?
Anyway, I now have to get to actual work, and I'm sure you all do as well. Have a good rest of the week!
