Donate To Jack Jablonski, Paralyzed During A High School Hockey Game

+

We mentioned this yesterday after Jake Dowell left some kind words, but now we have learned that Jack Jablonski has a severed spinal cord and may never walk again. He was injured after taking an accidental check from behind and hitting the boards head first. "CaringBridge is a nonprofit website that can be used by anyone facing a health journey and the donations given in tribute to Jack through the links on his CaringBridge website go to help support our mission to amplify love, hope and compassion. As a 501c3 organization, we are unable to disburse the funds to the family. At the heart of CaringBridge, we’re about caring for each other. This means, it is also important to us that people’s intentions, when they donate, are honored." While this is far outside of our minds in North Texas, we are all hockey fans and should do our best to support someone who by all accounts was an extraordinary young man and deserves as much help as he can get.
