Nittymaki on waivers...

I've always been a fan of Nitty. I tend to think that he gets the short end of the stick a lot...

I'm kind of hoping that the Bolts pick him up. Rolosson looks like he's spent and they are in desperate need of goaltending. Garon and Nitty would make a serviceable platoon and be a marked improvement over Rolosson/Garon - at the very least, it couldn't get any worse.

while they certainly need better goaltending i dont know if nitty is the answer

Long term?

No. Nitty would not be the answer for TB in the long term. However, the fact stands that they need a goalie – Garon isn’t going to be able to hold the fort all by himself and Rolo needs to retire.

I love niitty

I wouldn’t mind him being a backup for Kari and give Bachs some more time in the AHL. Flyers got rid of niittymaki too, I always thought that he was better than how he was perceived.
