They do not play either team again this season.
So…..dunno what that means….but its out there.
Who would we possibly want from either team?

there's plenty of good players on both teams.
Just not the top line talent everyone is talking about.
Beyond that, it’s perfectly normal for scouts to be at other games, even if we don’t play them. You always want to stay open to all options.

There’s a few forwards that could help from Toronto. Tyler Bozak, perhaps. Grabovski and Bozak are natural centers.

Reminds me a lot of a Suter type player, maybe a bit less offense, but….great player. I imagine the front office is looking for centers though…

Min and Col are both without their top players.
Minnesota was never as good as the standings indicated, but I never thought they were much worse than the Stars. I think the floor is 11th/12th.

I'm talking about the number of "transplant fans".
I know that rebuilding the foundation of the fan base is going to take time, especially in a winner’s town like Dallas.
I mean…there are a ton of transplant fans from all over, or even worse — fans who are fans yet never lived in Detroit. That’s about as frustrating as it gets.

To clarify:
The Saints fan is the best example of “bandwagon fan” that has ever existed.

Those numbers can hide real trends.
Usually they are defined as city limits, and a lot of old mfg cities like Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit are surrounded by other cities in the metro area and have no room left to grow. I know in Cleveland several years ago the big declines in Cleveland were more than offset by increases in the Suburban areas.
Though I know that is not the case in Detroit. Just wanted to point out potential faults in those numbers.

No they don't.
The fourth line isn’t very good.
The third line is solid defensively, but they offer little offensively.
The Ribeiro line is useless defensively, and old outside of Eriksson.
The top line has one top line player on it with Benn.
Ryder/Ribeiro/Morrow are all second line talents, but they don’t fit together on this team since none of them can play any defense.

I'm paying attention.
I’m a Daley fan, and it ticks me off that some people are so hostile to him.
Mostly it's just that he never lived up to the hype
We all thought that he could be an offensive dynamo, but he never really showed it until recently. Add in some defensive screw-ups, and you’ve got a recipe for a player that the fans like to poke fun at.
