Le me begin this is an entirely hypothetical question, I started the discussion with Brad last night at the game and another series of questions popped in my head. Earlier in the day Eric Godard was placed on waivers and played in the game later that night. If in the 1st period some team(s) placed a claim on Godard would he be able to finish the game? If so let's say in the second period he tears his ACL is out for the season could the team(s) that made a claim for him on the waiver then withdrawal their waiver request?
