Holy cow people. It's already August! And you know what that means. If you don't, it means it's going to be really hot this month, with temperatures forecasted to reach 109 degrees on Thursday, and I saw this on Channel 11 as I was typing this up, and even I'm in disbelief. I can't remember it being this hot in Texas for so many consecutive days.

In other news, because it's August, that means this month we'll see NFL Preseason (woohoo...), and...we're one month away from hockey! Hooray!
