I am somewhat new fan of the Stars and hockey in general. I got hooked in with the 08 campaign and have lived and died by these guys for the last three years. I will be in Chi-Town while the Stars roll thru town on October 8th. I have never gone to an out of town game where my team has been in enemy territory. (Minus college games) This is Chicagos 1st game at home for 2011-12 season obviously. I know I will have to shell out some cash to get decent seats, but was wondering if any of you have any pointers as to how I can make sure I have tickets in advance...FYI, I have singed up to be notified when single game tickets have been made available thru the Blackhawks website.

There are tickets available right now on Stub Hub and I could buy right now. But I dont want to buy now and see later pricing has dropped once single game tickets have been made available.  Just looking for some help from anyone who has been in this position before... Thanks
