Stargazing: A Big D Puckcast Episode #2 - Future's So Bright
In this week's episode, Art and Brandon get into a detailed breakdown of the Dallas Stars draft this past June. With the Stars coming off one of their most exciting drafts in recent memory, we take a deeper look at each player selected and try to temper our enthusiasm and glee of the potential we see for the future.
We also welcome Ted Price onto the show for a closer look at the latest ownership news.
We are still waiting for the podcast feed to be approved by iTunes, and we will be sure to post that link as soon as it is available. For now, the show is available for online streaming on DallasSportsNetwork.tv.
You can listen to the show here.
Please let us know if you are enjoying the new format. We are working to get the show up on iTunes as soon as possible, so we apologize for that temporary inconvenience.

I am enjoying the new format!
Great job fellas. It’s nice to have some follow up opinions on our draft picks too! I just wish you had talked more about intangibles. :D
Heika suggests that the players were questioning decisions such as Woywitka over Mark Fistric --Brad Gardner
Maybe that's why Woywitka had that puzzled face after that goal....
"Shouldn’t Fistric have scored that?!" --Tsudbury
These are not live recordings any longer.
We record them via the internet, in a pre-recorded format and then edit the show together.

Rookie Camp
Since the podcast was prospect related. Any word on the Rookie camp invitees. I know there were several players who the Stars invited and I was just curious to see if any of them made an impact or impressed anyone.
We covered the Dev camp a few weeks back
Neither of us on the show last night were able to attend, and we had one person scheduled who had been there but that fell through.

When I saw them
I’d say Adriano Mungioli impressed me the most out of the “invited” guys. He looked like he was always enjoying himself, and worked very hard every minute he was out on the ice during drills. He also seemed to listen quite intensely and soak in everything he heard.
Parker Milner was a goalie they had at camp that I thought looked pretty good. He was very positionally sound, and while not the biggest guy at camp, seemed to have very good mechanics to build on.
