So
Scott Glennie has 89 points (32/57) in 66 games this season, without former linemates Brayden Schenn and Matt Calvert.
This helps to do away with the notion he was only good due to Schenn, one would think.

Serious Richards Question
Can the lenders afford to not make the playoffs? I mean, it really hurts their chances of selling the team if they not only miss out on that revenue, that publicity, AND if Richards gets traded. Don’t they have to pull a Jay Bo gamble and make a run for it, then hope something can happen and they sell the team with enough time for Richards to negotiate under new ownership?
Honestly....
I think from a direct valuation standpoint, it won’t matter much if they make the playoffs or not.
From an indirect valuation standpoint, if Richards isn’t here next year, the Stars will take a significant step back, which will probably hurt attendance that much more.
Then again, sports business isn’t my specialty.

Part of trading for Neal was knowing he can’t do it by himself. He’s played almost exclusively with Richards, so they know he needs Crosby or Malkin. He’ll be fine once they’re back.
