Dallas Stars prospect Austin Smith named ECAC Player Of The Month

My apologies for missing this yesterday. Austin Smith, a senior for Colgate University, doesn't get as much attention as he deserves. Yet he is quietly having an incredible season and should make a big push for NHL playing time very soon. Smith was named the ECAC Player Of The Month, going 8-2-10 in seven games. Smith also scored two goals last night, giving him a 17-6-23 line just 15 games. For today, he is now the highest scoring forward in the nation.
