Team Update 1

RECAP: We've hit a skid, but the team is still chugging along. Our record so far this month is a less than desirable 28-39-4, while our all-time record stands at 62-72-12. So, in other words, one good night and we're back at .500.

Needless to say, hitting the Elite division by December like we hoped to do is easier said than done. The team is currently ranked at Amateur, about 5 wins away from being in the Pro division. Let's just get there first. Baby steps, you know. Though most of the games, bounces, what-have-you, haven't been going our way, the team is still having fun even on the most frustrating nights. Maybe not "fun for the whole family", but still fun nonetheless.

HOW TO JOIN: If you have NHL 12 for the 360, or will be getting it as a Christmas gift soon, you're welcome to join the team! We're always looking for new players, especially active ones. For the love of God active players would be nice.

Anyway, you can join the team through one of two methods. One way to join is to 1) go to the EA Sports Hockey League section of the main menu, 2) Click Join Club (or whatever menu item it is), 3) Search "DefendingBigD" in the Search For Club option. I'll generally get you in within 1-3 days. The other option is to post your gamertag in the comments below, and I'll send you a join request. To check your Player Hub for said join request, Go to the EA Sports Hockey League part of the menu, and then click the right stick. Your invite should be there.There are no "skill" requirements to join, nor is there any need to try out (apparently the serious teams do that, we go outside sometimes instead). In other words, just join the team and jump in!
