Tom Wandell, Toby Petersen Healthy Scratches vs. Anaheim

The Stars will be hitting the ice tonight with Krys Barch and Eric Nystrom providing some physicality against Anaheim, as both Tom Wandell and Toby Petersen are to be the healthy scratches. Wandell has struggled to start the season and perhaps a night off will help him focus a bit moving forward.

No word yet on which defenseman will be scratched.

With a lead, it’d be tempting to shuffle the lines a bit and rely on combos of Burish-Ott-Nystrom with Pardy-Grossman paired up on the blueline to combat the inevitable physicality Anaheim will try to bring.

Going to be interesting to watch

how our beefed up D plays this one.

Liked what I saw from Nystrom the first game. Will be interesting to watch that fourth line too. Not only their energy, but their playing time. It was the most of the season at just under 10 min in the last game.
