None of those really tickle my fancy to be honest.
Parise is the only one, and he will be way overpriced.

I think he had a big year last year, but I don't know if I'd pay as much as other people are going to for him.
If he’s not extended this year, he’ll get stupid money, just like Parise and Weber.
I’m just not really a fan of big FA signings. Maybe that’s because Avery ruined it for me though.

he’s had like 4 good years in a row. Probalby a top 10 dman in the league. I think he’s worth big money. I can see being down on free agent signings like avery, but avery was always a third liner who is a jerk. Suter a first pairing dman who ive never heard anythign about as far as attitude goes.
Suter's definitely a top 10 defenseman these days.
He’ll be at a high price, but he’ll play up to his price tag.
True.
If the Stars get some “bigger” names, I hope the way to do it would be a trade.

i was just thinking that
nashville will only be able to keep one of those two guys. i’m good with either weber or suter, im sure we’d all like parise but he will cost alot and i dont feel like the stars really need him. it may be a few more years but i fully expect glennie to be big time scorer whenever he gets to dallas, maybe not right away but i think that guy could really be great. also vincour could be a 20 goal guy if he could figure it out. the guy who really intrigues me on this list though is shane doan, he’s older but can do everything and would be a perfect fit here.
by the way worst e-news ever...

lol exactly.
I bet most of these will have their contracts extended, or be traded before the deadline anyways.

Parise interests me and so does Suter
but the rest? meh…
Even if Parise is overpaid I think he will be worth it when new ownership comes in. Parise is a stud and will continue to be for a long time. I liken it to the signing of Brett Hull and we all know how that turned out.
I want to believe Glennie will pan out but his injury history has me very leary.

I'm just interested in re-signing Benn and Goose this upcoming offseason.
And Souray if he keeps doing what he’s doing. Also whoever else in our top 6 that might be going RFA/UFA.
And Stars have that question also
with Burish and Grossman. There the money will pretty much go.

ah yes, I knew I forgot something with my post above...
Overpaying for Parise would not bother me if it meant being able to resign key components like Benner and Goose. If it interferes with that then no thanks.

Am I the only one...
that would love for Doan to play for the Stars?

If we were close to a cup contending team
Otherwise it’s a waste of money for an aging player. Would be interesting to see him in a stars uniform
Morrow is enough like Doan
for me not to want to sign Doan as a FA. Morrow may not have stats as gaudy as Doan’s, but he’s also three years younger.
Honestly, I think it's too early to be looking to next year's free agency.
The focus of the new owner will be on the here and now. Looking at the team, front office staff, etc. for this season. I’d prefer to have all of the key contracts (Benn, Goligoski) done first. Then the secondary contracts (solid guys we want to keep – Grossman, Burish) and decisions on the other free agents (Dvorak, Barch, Dowell, Petersen, Wandell, Souray, Fistric, Raycroft.) Then, it’s focus in on guys to target in free agency next summer. There’s a LOT that needs to be done before they get to that point.
GRAB GRABOVSKI!
he wouldnt be as overpaid as the other UFAs and hes put up big points on so/so teams. he also probably isnt looking for some insane term on the contract and would settle for a 3-4 year deal. right amount of time before our youngsters are ready to be big names.
