RECAP: I dont know how often these updates will come, probably monthly starting now (barring lack of interest later on in the year). Anyway, the team hasn't been to bad to start out the year! Our record currently stands at 18-17-6, but we've lost 7 of our last 8. Although 3 of those were with our village idiot (Jon) in goal, so there's that. Our slider is right between the Amateur and Pro rankings, which is a good place to start out, as far as level of competition goes. If we keep going at this pace, I'm sure we can hit the Elite division by December.  It's been fun so far, and I hope the club continues to go far!

HOW TO JOIN: We're always looking for new active members to kick back and have fun with. You can join the team through one of two methods. One way to join is to 1) go to the EA Sports Hockey League section of the main menu, 2) Click Join Club (or whatever menu item it is), 3) Search "DefendingBigD" in the Search For Club option. I'll generally get you in within 1-3 days. The other option is to 2) post your gamertag in the comments below, and I'll send you a join request. To check your Player Hub for the invite, Go to the EA Sports Hockey League part of themenu, and then click the right stick. Your invite should be there.
