The Re-entry waivers problem...

I was reading some Heika bits this afternoon, and he had an interesting note about re-entry waivers:

 

The need for recall waivers goes away after the trade deadline (Feb. 28), so Segal will not be recalled until that time (at the earliest).

It's not like this has any ground breaking effects, but it will be nice to see Segal come back up for the playoffs if anyone gets hurt.  It also means that they've been playing Gagnon right on pace to use up his 10 game limit to just before the trade deadline, so there shouldn't be any problems.

 

I'd also expect that you'll see our old friend (and the butt of many jokes) Brunnstrom being called up on March 1st for Toronto for the remainder of their season.

 

Like I said, nothing huge, but I thought it was worth sharing.
