Brandon Segal Placed on Waivers

ESPN Dallas is reporting that the Stars, as suspected, have placed Brandon Segal on waivers and he is the odd man out after the Jamie Langenbrunner acquisition. Unlike Sutherby, Barch and Petersen, Segal has a two way contract and would make significantly less money in the AHL, saving the Stars some bucks after they took on about $1.4 million in salary for Langenbrunner. Segal would join Brunnstrom as NHLers now with the Texas Stars should he clear waivers.
