Happy Birthday To James Neal

The young forward turns 23 today. Personally, I'm celebrating by wearing my #18 jersey shirt around campus today, and I don't care if I'm in Blues country. From all of us at DBD, we wish that James Neal's birthday is "The Real Deal". To celebrate, here's a highlight video of his rookie season, courtesy DallasStars.com.

Maybe he'll get a contract for his birthday?

I hope he comes back

with a new contract and having totally forgotten last year’s suspension. His game suffers when he’s not doing what he naturally does, which is dish out plenty of contact.

When I turned 23

I was two weeks away from graduating college and setting out to find a big boy job.

This guy is about to make 2.5 mil a year and get even better at playing hockey for a living.

I think I lost at life ;)

I’m the flip of his age, and it will take me pretty much my whole career to make half that much. To only have been born male and athletically gifted; or really cute to be a puck bunny. Instead, I’m a librarian =P
