I think whenever I look at Hicks’ financial situation, it makes just a little more sense each time. One thing I’ve been thinking about regarding Hicks… I think it’s a very good possibility that he won’t get a dime for the land surrounding the ballpark. Probably for 1 of 2 reasons…. One, just like yall said during the podcast, that G&R can sue hicks due to his meddling that essentially forced this auction. Or, two, that the unsecured creditors can go after hicks for that property, in order to help satisfy their debts.

Forget all that, though…. It was definitely great to hear about hockey again! And despite our lack of defense right now, I’m exxcited to see what the season brings for our maturing 2nd and 3rd year players.

Honestly, I think it’s entirely possibly that the unsecured creditors’ lawyers and G&Rs lawyers team up to make sure that the lots surrounding the park wind up in the right hands. That’s what I hope for anyways.
