"The first overall selection in the 2010 NHL Draft, Mike Modano is one of the last players to ever don a North Stars jersey."

I don't know about that choice

I always thought Hall and Seguiin were both contenders for the 1st spot. Edmonton selecting a 40-year old player who wasn’t even draft eligible has to be one of the biggest surprises of the draft.
