Anti-Hicks Liverpool FC Supporters Continue to Lead Charge

PrintThis time, they do it with a Texas/Western themed poster. This was sent to us by someone going only as "Ron" and is not directly tied to the Spirt of Shankly campaign we highlighted earlier this month. This group is apparently local, and he described them to me as "mysterious" (in as much as they do not have a website for you to visit and prefer to fly under the radar).
I'm beginning to feel even worse for these Liverpool folks, because while it looks like Texans may be rid of this fiasco by years end, they will likely not be rid of it for some time. Indications so far have been that Mr. Hicks can afford to wait patiently with the Liverpool sale, to maximize his profit.
Say what you will about them, but they sure are organized. You've got to love that.

Whereas Hicks has been open to selling the Stars or Rangers to simply the highest bidder
He’s held steadfast to an £800 million price tag.

It annoys me...
…that Liverpool fans are so antagonistic towards the Stars, and the Rangers as well.
We didn’t do anything to them; we’re even in a similar situation. It’s not our fault they have it worse than we do.
