Vishnevskiy Bouncing Around

It's not directly Stars news, but something that should make a few fans smile.

Apparently the Atlanta Thrashers shared Joe Nieuwendyk's views on Ivan Vishnevskiy.  The Thrasher's recently dealt Vishnevskiy, and a second round pick, to Chicago for Andrew Ladd (RFA).  Not a bad trade for either team, as the Blackhawks dump salary, and get a pick and a prospect, while the Trasher's get a two-time cup winner.

From a Stars perspective though, it feels pretty good.  There were a lot of question marks after the Lehtonen trade given his history of injuries and Vishnevskiy's supposed potential.  While this does nothing to ease our injury worries, it does help ease the pain of losing a guy once thought to be our blue chip boy on the back end.
