Oh my God…I think I just stopped breathing for a few seconds. I just can’t believe it’s come to this…
Here's to all us girls who love hockey...and the men who play it.

**very sad face**
Knew it was going to come to this but unhappy just the same…
**Proof SOME rules are meant to be broken**
This Sucks!
I only wish this Organization could have heald out alteast another year so they could have given him a 1 year deal. He is the face of this Franchise and the Greatest American Hockey Player of all Time, and this is what it has come down to. How sad….you cant tell me they dont have enough money to atleast give him a 1 year deal. I would rather have him on the team then half the other knuckleheads they got. I’m sorry, but I am old school…and you damn right they owe him!
One more year.. One more year...
We said “One more year…” about Modano and Jere last year…
How many “One more years…” is a team supposed to give someone?

Except that Favre is still putting up career numbers....
Modano is a Legend, but he’s not the offensive power he used to be.
Oh I know
I was speaking more to the point that no matter which team Brett plays for, that question always hovers overhead.
The Packers got tired of playing that game, the Jets got tired of playing it. And I suspect at some point when the Vikings get a young QB in waiting that they want to take over the club, they’ll get tired of it, too.
I suspect if Mike comes back this season, however, this will be it.
