Your Texas Stars took it to the Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) tonight in Ontario, winning a hard fought battle late in the OT period to force Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals.

Texas allowed the first goal, typically a bad harbinger for the Stars and a good one for the Dogs.  Texas battled back and got a goal from Garrett Stafford on the power play.  After allowing another, Scott McCulloch bounced one past goalie Curtis Sanford in the 3rd to even the score at 2.

After an OT period that likely should have carried a 'heart-conditions' warning, Aaron Gagnon stole the show.  The Texas center collected a rebound off a Jamie Benn shot and pushed one over the line just up against the left side post.

Texas was outshot 53-38 in the game and 13-8 in the OT period.  Goalie Matt Climie stopped 51 of 53 in the win and stole quite a few late in the 3rd and throughout OT.

Full recap on Hundred Degree Hockey.  Texas will now face the Bulldogs in Game 7 on Wednesday night.  The winner will face the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals) for the Calder Cup.  Montreal's defeat could play into the game as stars such as P.K. Subban may return to the Hamilton lineup.
