The 27 year old defenseman is due for a raise, probably in the $4 million range if this article is correct. He played in 78 games last season with the Preds and scored 5 goals and 24 points in all. It is thought that Nashville can't afford to keep him. He's probably not the kind of guy that could really lead and fix this defense, but could he help if they could somehow, some way afford him?
