Neal, Ott Named to Team Canada

James "The Real Deal" Neal will be donning his second Team Canada sweater in as many years and will be joined by Stars teammate Steve Ott at this year's World Hockey Championships in Germany.  It doesn't look as though the team has been made official yet, but TSN is reporting we should all be looking for our two beloved Stars on the upcoming Team Canada roster.

Other notables include Steven Stamkos, John Tavaras, Jordan Eberle and even Steve Downie.  There are still a few roster spots not accounted for which should be filled following the first round of the playoffs.

In my opinion, this is a great opportunity for both players.  Neal gets more international experience while Otter finally gets his much deserved recognition from higher ups outside of Dallas.  Let's just hope Neal's eye doesn't have a repeat performance.

Two guys I was expecting to see but won't are Richards and Robidas.  In my mind, both would fit in quite well with the current roster; it's unfortunate they won't be making the trek to Germany.
