Our Dallas Stars' Poster Boy
Who is in charge of the front page graphics on the Dallas Stars' website? He/she needs to be fired. As most of you know, every game day when you visit the Dallas Stars' website, the first page is always a graphic of the key players on each team for the Stars game. Have you seen today's? Can you guess what key player this genius decided epitomizes the Dallas Stars? Brad Richards?....uh no. Remember, it has to be someone who puts the fear of God in the opponent, right? Is it Steve Ott then? It has to be....uh wrong. Guess again. Ok, ok....hmmmmmm. Let's go with an Olympian then. How 'bout Eriksson?......try again. Neal? Nope. BENN?.....still cold. I'm stumped....who is the embodiment of the Dallas Stars spirit, their grit, determination, toughness, and physicality? You scan the roster....DAMN! How could I have missed him?! NISKA-FREAKIN'-NEN!!
Memo to the Dallas Stars graphics department:
Hey Forrest Gump, there's a doctor here asking for his magic shoes back.

What he lacks in talent...
…he redeems with being cute.
The front page used to be of the Stars dressing room!!
The freaking dressing room!! Are they kidding me?!?!
How many goals has the dressing room scored?! It’s on-ice average time is HORRIBLE!! year after year we wait for the dressing room to do something meaningful for this club and year after year we’re let down.. The damn dressing room can’t even clean itself up!! it needs “locker room attendants” to do that for it!!
My life was so ruined when the damn dressing room was featured as the background for that web site.
Stupid website type people not having a clue that these things really do truly matter!!

Although to be accurate...
the dressing room was never the player featured on the game page. You’re thinking of the wallpaper of the general web site…which I think it’s STILL that damn dressing room!
Gotta keep our journalistic integrity, right?

I just read this. And it made my day.
"It would've been a huge momentum boost if we had beaten the St. Mary's School for the Blessed, Blind, Deaf and Dumb."
Hockey nut since the night of 5/2/08. What a night it was.

Oh and...
the dressing room actually has been productive. It provides needed energy for the team. It certainly has contributed to team chemistry as small as it is. And what butt support it gives!
They once put a graphic of Eric Staal and James Neal, when both players weren’t going to play (Staal was injured and Neal susended). Then when I went to show that little gem to my dad, it’d been changed to a graphic with Jussi and Mo on it.
Nisky isn’t as bad as putting Barch on it. Or Woywitka. At least Nisky will probably play…
Here's to all us girls who love hockey...and the men who play it.

Late
But I’d rather see Barch, or Woywitka, or Hutchins, or Morrison, or Halpern, or Hagman or….
Yeah you get the idea…. anybody but Niskanen.
I dunno… I wanna like the guy… I do….
But I’d like him here in Cedar Park rather than in Dallas….
