but hitting guys in the back is what people are talking bout when they mean that NHLers don’t respect each other much anymore.

I dont see any disrespect there
it did not seem like an intent to injure, rather just bump him off the puck. Was the result good, no but you also have to think that if a guy is going into bump someone off the puck and the guy turns to protect the puck, they can’t always stop. In the end I don’t think he will get a suspension, but I also think the game misconduct was a little much.
I didn't see Robidas trying to hurt Clowe
but the “disrespect” part comes with hitting someone in the back. This hit was magnified in that Clowe was playing the puck close to the boards and wasn’t able to brace himself against the boards with his hands. His head was what hit first and almost seemed like his face “rubbed” hard against the glass and that’s what cut him, not the big hit. If Clowe gets his hands up, not an issue.

I’m watching Sharks post-game show for a different perspective – Randy and Drew are flabbergasted. Drew is blathering about all sorts of stuff. Anyway great win (hopefully not meaningless) for the Stars
