Kari Lehtonen
Kari Lehtonen mention with the Stars. Nothing concrete, but interesting nonetheless. From an article talking about Kovalchuk being traded we have this:
--
Along with the Kovy bomb Kincade dropped on us yesterday, he also indicated the he has been led to believe Kari Lehtonen has played his last game as a Thrasher and he will be moved potentially to Dallas or St. Louis.
So, it is what it is, a name, a rumor - yay for trade rumors.

The one name I’ve heard thrown around as a possible cost for Kari is Fabian Brunnstrom… Trading one headache the Stars have for the headache the Thrashers have.
If Kari could regain even some of his old form he’d be a decent pick up – especially for Fabian since he’s pretty much doing nothing on a nightly basis anyway.
Gotta love this time of year.

If he would only cost Brunner, and sign at under 1.5mil good move. Otherwise he is injury prone and not good for a team under a strict budget.
He's signed for like
3 million this year and would demand a QO or go free agency. It’s one of the reasons Atlanta wants to trade him. They won’t pay him more. Though if he goes FA he might not get anywhere near that much money.
Basically who knows how much he’ll accept for salary. That’s another reason it shouldn’t even cost Bruno to acquire him. He has no value whatsoever.
No kidding.
I mean, he has potential but I’m not willing to trade away anything of substance.
