Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie Dead at 53
In totally unrelated hockey news, but a story near and dear to me, Captain Phil Harris of the crab fishing boat Cornelia Marie died today at the age of 53. His death was the result of complications following a stroke back on January 30th while conducting a crab off load. For those who watch the show Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel, you know that Phil was truly a family man. His two sons were deckhands on the Cornelia Marie. My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with the Harris family during this most difficult time. RIP Captain Phil...
