Lehtonen, Woywitka Both in Again Tonight for Stars

Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Dallas Stars will roll with the exact same lineup tonight in St. Louis as the Stars and Blues play back to back, home and home. Kari Lehtonen will start in net again.

This will be Kari Lehtonens third back to back set of the young season already. He played in Long Island on opening weekend and started a back to back set in California earlier this month. He's allowed 7 goals in that situation, stopping 76 of 83 shots (.915%). In both games the team in front of him cratered in the third period.

Dallas is 1-2 on the second half of back to backs this year including the famous 5-0 shellacking in Denver. This will be the Stars 7th game in 12 days and their third in four games, which will also be true of their game in Raleigh on Monday.

Severin Blindenbacher will not make his NHL debut as Jeff Woywitka has stated a case to stay in the lineup.

Tonight's game is on FSN+, meaning you can find it on these channels:

Time Warner Ch. 960 (1960 HD)
Charter Ch. 300
DirecTV Ch. 677 (677-1 HD)
Dish Network Ch. 448
AT&T U-Verse Ch. 754 (1754 HD)
Verizon Fios Ch. 333

Meaning that FiOS customers such as myself will be killing small animals with rocks for sustenance, trying to start fires to ward off predators and trying to outrun glaciers as we watch a sporting event that is NOT in high definition. Thanks FiOS. It's primitive.

Come back for the GDT, won't you? And Go Stars!

I just hope,

That

A. We don’t burn out Kari

and B. WE GIVE SEVERIN A CHANCE – we don’t really have long age wise with this fellow, and he appears to have some potential. All respect to Woywitka and the rest, but I hope the management give the guy a chance.

Magic number is 122....

Let’s make it 120!

The Stars will have a 3 game win streak within their first 6 games. Mark my words!
