I noticed that the Stars game tonight and the Rangers World Series game take place at about the same time, so that they overlap. I'd like to ask which one will monopolize your attention this time.

Personally, I've been a hockey fan for a long time; my older sister was into it when I was a kid, and I acquired a love for it as well. At the same time, while I would be happy if the Rangers won, I'm not especially into baseball. I'm what you would call a fair-weather Rangers fan.

In fact, I'm not sure whether I would rather listen to the Stars lose an early-season hockey game (not to say that that'll actually happen tonight!), or listen to the Rangers win a World Series game, I prefer hockey so much.

However, attendance in Stars games has taken a severe hit as of late, with the Rangers doing well in the playoffs. By virtue of the fact that y'all are on this Stars blog to begin with, I assume you're more dedicated hockey fans than the norm.

Therefore, if you're willing to abandon the Stars tonight, that would pretty well tell us whether the average fan is willing to.
