With the Dallas Stars set to open up divisional play on Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks, we are reminded of what truly makes hockey fun: the rivalries.

There was a time when the Chicago Blackhawks coming to town meant one hell of a physical and entertaining game. Anyone remember the rumble at Reunion Arena with Shane Churla leading the festivities? But as the NHL changed divisional alignments, the Dallas Stars' rivalries changed to reflect their new standing in the Pacific Division. Now the Stars had epic bouts with the San Jose Sharks, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and even the Phoenix Coyotes.
