I'm tellin ya I get no respect!
Per my normal routine in the mornings I pull up my workstation then go straight to Defending Big D and get our community's take on lastnight's Stars game. Feel good feelings all around.
Then I decide to see if the national hockey press has taken notice and what do I find? NOTHING!
NHL.com has not one single mention of the Stars win. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!
We have the best record in hockey, tied for first in goal differential at +8, ran the reigning 1st star of the week who was riding back to back shut-outs and boasted the lowest team goals against (Tomas Vokoun) out of the game after the 2nd period, have a 2nd year blossoming star return from concussion like symptoms only to put up 3 assists, the storylines go on and on and....NOTHING!
I know it's early and I know we are the red-headed step-child of the NHL but not even a snipet?
It is sickening! I know this is nothing new to you or me, dear Stars fans, but I have had it! From this morning on I am starting a crusade to bombard every last national news outlet that covers hockey from NHL.com to The Hockey News with irate feedback about their blatant biases and gross negligences.
I invite you to join me. Stars fans unite!
