Stars Place Grossman on IR ; Recall Maxime Fortunus

Thanks to that lower body injury that he suffered in the second period of Wednesday's game at the Rangers, the Stars announced today that Nicklas Grossman has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to January 6th.

Maxime Fortunus has been called up from the Texas Stars for his second stint with the big club this season. Last night, Fortunus recorded the only goal for the Stars in a 3-1 loss to Abbotsford. He played five games last month is his first tour of duty with the Dallas Stars.
