NHLPA Fires Executive Director Paul Kelly
After just two years on the job reports Darren Dreger of TSN.
Admittedly, I haven't been keeping up with this saga as much as others have, so I don't know what the long term ramifications will be to the NHLPA itself.
I'm a little loathe to the idea that this inherently means the NHLPA is in shambles. Because if Paul Kelly was getting a little too close to Gary Bettman and Bill Daly for the executive board's liking, then this move would certainly galvanize all the players in anticipation of the next negotiating go-around when the current CBA expires at the end of the 2011 season.
