I think the preseason game in Cedar Park is perfect. It draws a crowd in from the local area to see the amenities and get a taste of what will be there, and it will draw in Stars fans from outlying areas and Dallas for the same reason. If only it were televised, then all would be right in the world. The Dallas Stars 2009-10 NHL Regular Season Schedule should be released next Wednesday (July 15th), so keep a look out for it next week for more information.

[Note by Brandon Worley, 07/09/09 4:02 PM EDT ] I've added a countdown clock on the left sidebar, tracking the time left until training camp begins. Camp will start on September 12th and will be held in Frisco.

So...

Who’s thinking road trip to Cedar Park for that game?

It’s on a Wednesday, but it might be a cool scene.

I Definitely Am

I just have to convince my buddy to go, since I don’t have a license and all. Unless there’s anyone around that wouldn’t mind taking a stranger on a road trip, lol.

It will be a blast...

I have heard nothing but good things about the cedar park arena, people have no idea here in Austin just how cool the Texas Stars are going to be. The level of hockey played will be about 10 times the quality that the “beer league” Ice Bats provided.

Ahhh… Sept 16, the Bro-mance reunites, this time on Brad’s new turf. Preseason on not, that should be epic.
