Defending Big D weekday update

Some of you may have noticed the lack of posts over the past couple of days from yours truly. I went on a road trip through West Texas over the past five days, and it's kept me away from the internet for 98% of that time. I'd really like to thank Brandon and Art for their help over the weekend; I think we've immediately found out just how great it's going to be having Art writing here as well.

Moving forward, we're going to kick off our coverage of the NHL draft tomorrow. I know ideally we would have started this earlier, but I wanted to get this trip out of the way and also do some more research on the draft before really diving in headfirst. Hopefully, I'll also be able to share some news concerning our coverage of the draft pretty soon.

Coincidentally, Mike Heika over at the DMN is starting his draft coverage tomorrow as well.

Also, for those that are interested, I'll have a fairly lengthy account of my trip through the Texas Panhandle up tonight or tomorrow night complete with plenty of great pictures.
