I should note that Mike Heika has been trying to get confirmation from the Stars and Tippett and neither side is returning his calls. The official site also doesn't have any news of the firing. But I don't have any reason to doubt TSN. BTW, Marc Crawford's already being rumored as a replacement. And of course, expect a pro-Carbonneau push from nostalgic Stars fans.
