Manitoba Moose headed to Calder Cup Finals

Mark Fistric, Ray Sawada and Maxime Fortunus are now the last Dallas Stars standing. The Manitoba Moose beat the Houston Aeros 3-1 in game six of the AHL Western Conference Finals to win the series and move on the Calder Cup Finals to take on the Hershey Bears.

Fistric and Fortunus both saw significant ice time in the game on defense, and Fistric scored off a big shot from the point to make it a two goal game in the third period. Dallas Stars goalie prospect Matt Climie was brilliant once again for Houston, giving his team a chance while under heavy assault from the Moose offense.

Zandstorm from Nucks Misconduct has an excellent detailed rundown of the game. It will be Manitoba's first ever trip to the AHL Finals.

Here is the schedule for the Finals:

Game 1 – Sat., May 30 – Hershey at Manitoba, 7:30
Game 2 – Tue., June 2 – Hershey at Manitoba, 7:30
Game 3 – Sat., June 6 – Manitoba at Hershey, 6:00
Game 4 – Sun., June 7 – Manitoba at Hershey, 4:00
*Game 5 – Tue., June 9 – Manitoba at Hershey, 6:00
*Game 6 – Fri., June 12 – Hershey at Manitoba, 7:30
*Game 7 – Sun., June 14 – Hershey at Manitoba, 7:30
