Watch Jamie Benn tonight on NHL Network
Dallas Stars top prospect Jamie Benn has been tearing it up the past few months in the WHL playoffs. He is one of the most explosive forwards at his level. He is physical, fast and has incredible vision. Up to this point, all the information we've received on Benn has been recaps in news stories and the neverending superlatives from those few (like Mark Stepneski) that paid (online) to see Benn play throughout the playoffs for Kelowna.
Tonight is the chance for you to see him for yourself.
The Kelowna Rockets, after beating RImouski 4-1 on Friday in the opening game of the Memorial Cup, will face QMJHL Champions Drummondville tonight on the NHL Network. (You can also catch the game via pay-per-view here.)
Kelowna has come along way on the road to the Memorial Cup, overcoming the seemingly unbeatable Calgary Hitmen to win the WHL Championship. If you've followed the team throughout the season, it's been amazing to see how the players have grown into a very close, tight-knit group that has turned into a very formiddable hockey team. Leading the charge the whole way has been Jamie Benn, future NHL star.
Puck drops tonight at 6:00p CDT.
Thanks to Mike Heika over at the DMN Stars blog for the tip.

Yeh...that sucks.
Maybe see how much it is to upgrade? It’s the same package as the one with NFL Network I believe.

I'm so confused by all of this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHL_Network_(United_States)
It doesn’t even say that NHLN is on 625 on any carrier. I found NHLN on 403 but I don’t have the channel. :(
I'm fairly certain I had it before I ordered Center Ice.
I’d suggest just calling them.

Definitely watching this game instead of Canes/Pens.
Time to see this Benn kid for myself!
I'll be catching this one later tonight on the DVR.
I have my own hockey game to play. I’ll be channeling my inner Jamie Benn.

Benn to Almond to tie the game!
Benn now leads the Memorial Cup in scoring with 3 goals and 2 assists.
Huge direction change right in front of Kelowna's goalie.
It was going over the net and then deflected off of a Rocket in front of the net and in.
Yeah.
I know how that feels.

I don't understand..
How can they ban someone for spamming when messages are limited to 150 characters? What if someone, I dunno, wants to express a complete thought ? lol..
I don't know.
They try not to have users that do nothing but hawk spam sites.

Damn...I missed it lol.
How did he score that one?

From the circle to the goalie's right.
Wasn’t a hard shot or anything, it just glided by Drummondville’s netminder and into the net. Perfect placement by Benn.
Lame penalty on Kelowna.
Didn’t see any roughing.. just a finished check.. whatever.
Game
Well… Is it over? Did they win?
BTW, how does the Memorial Cup work? Is this the championship game? Are anymore going to be televised?
