The NHL has suspended New York Ranger head coach John Tortorella for one game.
It is expected that Rangers assistant coach Jim Schoenfeld will take Tortorella's position for game six on Sunday afternoon.
I couldn't believe this news after hearing it. But after seeing the video of the incident, the NHL had to show that they take the safety and security of it's fans very serious.
How are the Rangers going to respond? Obviously it can only go one of two ways. One, it will unite this team to play for their hotheaded coach and move on the the Eastern Semifinals. Two, this is going to be the straw that breaks the camels back and the Rangers are done. Only time will tell.
