Hope this game goes well....
I want to end the season with a win. Beating Anaheim would be even better.

Beating Anaheim would be awesome.
Go Stars!
For those of you wondering what happened to third play that I liked from Vishnevskiy:
With the Stars hanging on to a 2-2 tie and going for two points, one of the Avs players had a partial breakaway down the left side. Vishnevskiy caught up and was able to make enough of a play to prevent any sort of scoring chance to happen. He was able to make the play, steal the puck and create a nice scoring chance going the other way.
It was very Zubov-esque.

Wow. Can’t wait to see more of this kid. Really seems to have what the Power Play has lacked.

For those interested
Minnesota has a 5-2 lead over Nashville and St. Louis has a 3-1 lead on Columbus.
If those two results hold up, Nashville will be eliminated from the playoffs and St. Louis will clinch a playoff spot. And if Anaheim gets at least a point out of tonight’s game against Dallas or tomorrow in Phoenix, then they’ll eliminate Minnesota and clinch the last playoff spot.

Just want the Stars to beat the Ducks.
That’d be a great way to end the season.

No kidding.
Are the Ducks the most hated team by the Stars fans? Or the Wings?

Oh man.
Tough call on that one… I’d have to go with the Wings though.
Remember back when the Blackhawks were the big rivals?
I loved going to those games.

I concur
Divisional rivals are always more hated.
And actually, I think the Sharks may be more hated around these parts than the Ducks. Aside from Ruslan Salei, no divisional rival’s defenseman has caused more physical damage to the Stars than a certain blue liner did 11 years ago.
