Around SBN: Chan Sung Jung Wins Thriller Over Dustin Poirier

Season Finale Preview: Dallas Stars @ Anaheim Ducks (9:00p)

It's a big night in Anaheim, who are in the playoffs with a win. They need two points total over their last two games so tonight isn't a complete must-win, but I'm sure the Ducks would prefer to clinch their playoff seed inn front of their home crowd before heading on the road to face Phoenix.

Yet the Stars can do their part by playing spoiler, and have always loved to win big games in Anaheim. For those of you worried about trying to get a better draft spot, the Stars can no longer move any lower in the standings. Now they could certainly move up a few spots with a win, but at this point I would like to end the season with the Stars doing their part to play the spoiler.

Expect the lines and personnel to stay the same, with one big change. Matt Climie was assigned today to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL, and Marty Turco is expected to make his 74th and final start of the season. Climie would probably have stayed on for this game except Idaho is getting ready for the playoffs.

It will be interesting to see if Dave Tippett gives his younger players the majority of the ice time again and if so, how they respond playing against a hungry team at home. Winning a close game against last place Colorado is one thing, facing a playoff ready Anaheim is whole different monster.

Once again, tonight my eye is on Ivan Vishnevskiy. He was given free reign to play his game last night and while he didn't score, his ability to create plays was more than evident. Let's see what he does tonight with more confidence and just one more shot to make an impression on the team this season.

Key Injuries:

Dallas: D Stephane Robidas (lower body), D Trevor Daley (lower body), RW Krys Barch (upper body), C Brad Richards (hand), C Toby Petersen (foot), LW Brenden Morrow (knee) and D Sergei Zubov (hip) are out.

Anaheim: D Francois Beauchemin (knee) is probable. D Bret Hedican (back) is doubtful. LW Brad Larsen is out.
