The Stars did a lot of good things tonight after last game's disappointing meltdown and were able to hold on on in the third period for a 3-2 win.
Yet they were outshot 38-16 on the night and at times looked like a very road weary team.
Some points to discuss:
- Marty Turco had a very strong game overall after his late collapse on Thursday night.
- Loui Eriksson had his 30th and 31st goals of the season.
- In his first game against the Ducks since his suspension Steve Ott played a relatively quiet game, except for two brilliant primary assists.
- The Stars are now right back in the middle of the playoff race and moved into 8th place in the West.
