Your 6 man squad

So I didn't see a fanpost about this kind of thing so i am sorry if there already is one.  There have been a lot of great players to wear the star on their chest over the years and I was just curious, if you had to fill out a lineup card, LW, C, RW, RD, LD and G, who would your 6 man squad consist of?  Who are your all-STARS?

mine consists of.

LW - Steve Ott

I love what this guy brings to the table.  He will piss you off, he will take away your focus and then he will put one in the net and make you feel stupid.  Hard worker, getting his scoring touch down and a good teammate.

C - Manny Malholtra

So i am sure most of you might be surprised by this but what can i say, i liked the way this kid played the game.  Could really skate, had a good skill set, just never got the chance to show it here in Dallas.

RW - Pat Verbeek

The little ball of hate, man i loved watching this guy play.  Hard nosed guy that came to play every night  He would piss you off with his mouth, his play and then with his scoring.

LD - Darryl Sydor

When i saw Sydor hobbled, not able to stand but crawling around on the ice to block the shot, i knew then that he would always be a star to me.  This man can do no wrong in my eyes after that night, hell thinking about it now makes me tear up.

RD - Richard Matvichuk

Another guy on my squad that gave his all every night, leaving nothing on the ice.  Hard nosed and made a great pair alongside hatcher.

G - Ed Belfour

Come on, THE EAGLE!!!  I loved to watch this guy play, not only because he was a great goalie but because of some of the crazy stuff he would do.  Like punching opponents with his blocker or just those times when he really lost it.  But when he was needed, his game was very sharp.

Man this was hard, i have a good place in my heart for a lot of stars players over the years but these were the ones i felt i liked the best, the ones who for some reason or another really came to mind when making this list.  As you can see i like the hitters, the agitators.
