For tomorrow night's game against the St. Louis Blues, we're going to try something a little different with our game thread. The past few weeks several sites across SBN have done some cross-promotion "field trips" where fans from both teams join together for one game thread.

Tomorrow night, we're going to do the same thing with St. Louis Game Time.  Here's how it will work:

• For the first period, all of us here at DBD will go over to SLGT and join in on their first period game thread. I'll have a post up here directing everyone over to the appropriate thread.
• For the second period we all move back to DBD, including the folks from SLGT.
  
• For the third period we stay home at DBD and they go back to their place. We enjoy the third period with only ourselves for comfort.

This is something that has seemed to work out very nicely and it's a great way to experience the game in a friendly environment with the opposition. This won't be a forum to get vulgar and hurl insults at one another, although I am sure some friendly trash talk will happen. For the most part, I'm looking forward to some friendly banter back and forth with some Blues fans.
