Dallas Stars afternoon update

Mike Heika reports in from the morning skate today in Columbus with some interesting news.

Both Jere Lehtinen and Steve Ott are nursing some undisclosed injuries, with Lehtinen skating and Ott sitting out the practice. Ott is listed as a game time decision.

Mark Fistric will play again tonight. If Ott is out tonight, Heika suggests running with a heavy three line rotation.

Lundqvist-Richards-Eriksson
Sutherby-Riberio-Lehtinen
Neal-Modano-Petersen

And then subbing in Parrish, Barch and Brunnstrom.

What do you guys think Tippett should do if Ott can't go?

Put Neal on the Ribeiro-Lehtninen line

He’s semi-physical, drives the net and is always around the puck.

Ribeiro

Why not just double shift Ribeiro?

Signature! I don't need no stinking signature!!

If you're running three lines and subbing in others along the way...

then essentially your top 3 centers are double shifting anyways.

It wouldn't be smart to just pencil in a defenseman

As a winger and move one of the wingers to center for this one game?

Move Brunstrom up with Ribiero

Brunnstrom-Ribiero-Lehtinen
Lundqvist-Richards-Eriksson
Neal-Modano-Parrish
Peterson-Barch

Or switch Lundqvist and Brunnstrom to see how each would do with the other center. Regardless Brunnstrom should be in the top nine.

I like that idea the best.
