The puck was chipped of his stick in a scrum… but there were a couple of Stars there that didn’t help.

In a way it did show how Fabian just isn’t strong on the puck in a scrum… But that goal was a result of the entire period. As Brandon said, they were playing not to lose…

I don't get it
In October the score would have been 5-2. Can anybody remember the last time the Stars scored 4+?
Know what the Stars 4th line misses?

not sure why he sits sometimes, yeah i know he has been injured, but sometimes he is a healthy scratch.
I'll have to look at it, but I'm pretty sure he's been one of the better players
When it comes to peripheral stats. Brandon B might have a better idea though. I could be wrong.

The moral victories are killing me
Why does it always seem to take soft goals and overtime for these guys to win? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not turning on my boys but it’s frustrating.

I’ll take repeated one point OT games until they get right. At least they are moving in the right direction standings wise.

Right there… He had the puck low.. he was backed up… And he gave the puck of instead of taking a shot because it looked like he realized he was too low for OT.

but at least James Neal seems like he’s back on track. Benn is looking good too. We just have to learn that we need to sustain the attack for a full 60 minutes. Playing “not to lose” usually winds up in losing.

Most owners love it as well… Because for all the bad the extra point does, the one thing good it does is keep the playoff races tight… And tight playoff races for the 10th, 11th, 12th and even 13th place teams means more money at the box office from fans who haven’t lost interest.

But in the shootout…which has nothing to do with hockey….at least test the goaltender. They had Neal (missed shot), Ribeiro (just lost it), Morrow (hit the post)
At least put some rubber on the damned net, for the love of the hockey gods.

I caught grief from some of our readers for suggesting Neal needs to either find another move, or Crawford needs to find another player to fill his spot in the shootout.

GO STARS!!! Man I miss fox sports sw. There are way more commercials on the oilers channel and the announcers suck! They said the stars got a penalty when they had the puck! How can they have a penalty when they have the puck at the same time lol. Missed you ralph and razor!
